Work Experience

Kathryn worked at Northeastern University as a Learning Disability Specialist and Technology Coordinator in the Disability Resource Center. There she helped students with disabilities receive appropriate academic and housing accommodations. She also instructed students in the use of assistive technology. After over four years at Northeastern University, Kathryn joined the University of Connecticut in February of 2018.

Kathryn currently serves as UConn’s IT Accessibility Coordinator. Her duties include evaluating websites’ accessibility, educating faculty and staff about creating accessible digital content, and providing guidance and assistance to campus departments in integrating accessible technology into the classroom and workplace environments.
